These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed through Official SIM Unlock. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Official SIM Unlock Service.
1.1 The services provided on the Official SIM Unlock website include network and carrier lookup services, eligibility and status checks, and mobile phone network unlocking using the device's IMEI number.
1.2 Once full payment has been received from a customer, our service of providing an unlock solution begins. At the point of order placement our timeframes are calculated based on recent processing times and given as a guideline.
1.3 Our Eligibility Check service allows us to perform a variety of checks, including checking for lost/stolen status, correct network, phone history and activation lock status on used devices. There may be an additional price to pay for the sim unlock itself. This will be calculated and displayed on your order summary page before placing your order.
1.4 Once the unlocking process is complete an email will be sent to the email address provided to notify the customer. The email will also provide the exact instructions for completing the unlocking process.
2. Order Cancellation
2.1 Commencement of Service
Due to the nature of our services, processing begins immediately after payment is received. Eligibility checks, carrier submissions, and associated costs may be incurred at once.
2.2 Cancellation Requests
By placing an order, you expressly request that we begin providing the service immediately. You acknowledge that once the service has commenced, your statutory right to cancel may be lost or reduced in accordance with applicable consumer law.
3. Customer Requirements
3.1 Customers must ensure that they check the compatibility of their handset with the network they intend to use once unlocked.
3.2 By placing an order, you confirm that you have reviewed the information provided on our website and selected the correct service for your device.
3.3 Blacklisted / stolen / lost phones / contract issues / incorrect network provided (also known as Blocked) - The term blacklisted covers phones that are not paid off, lost, stolen, insurance claimed etc. It is the customer's responsibility to verify whether the device has been reported as lost, stolen, blocked, blacklisted, or subject to unpaid contractual obligations before ordering. Lost, stolen and abused handsets are barred/blocked once reported and cannot be used inside the country it was blocked in on any major networks. If we undertake an unlock and subsequently determine that the device has been reported as lost, stolen, blocked, blacklisted, subject to a bad ESN, or affected by contractual restrictions, we may be unable to provide a refund. Where appropriate, a store credit may be offered.
3.4 Certain networks may impose minimum ownership periods or additional requirements before an unlock can be approved. In such cases, the request may remain pending until the carrier determines that the device is eligible.
3.5 Prior to unlocking your phone, it is the customer's responsibility to make sure that their Contacts, Messages and any other important data is properly backed up and synced prior to attempting any unlocking procedure. We will not accept responsibility for the loss of customer data for any reason.
3.6 Mobile phone unlocking is legal in the United Kingdom, most European countries, the United States, and many other jurisdictions. Customers are responsible for ensuring compliance with any local laws that may apply.
3.7 Customers are responsible for ensuring all information supplied, including the IMEI number and network, is accurate at the time of ordering. In some circumstances we may require additional information about the device being unlocked.
3.8 If an unlock is being processed by us, we recommend that customers do not submit simultaneous unlocking requests through multiple providers while an order is being processed, as this may affect the outcome of the service. This could lead to the device breaching the maximum number of unlock requests.
3.9 Customers experiencing an issue with a service should contact us via our support channels (email/helpdesk) so that we can investigate and attempt to resolve the matter. Please allow up to 7 days for us to review and respond to any reported issue.
4. Incorrect Information Provided
4.1 Completed Orders
Refunds cannot be provided for completed services where incorrect information was supplied by the customer.
4.2 Orders in Progress
Where incorrect information is identified before completion, we will make reasonable efforts to amend or cancel the order. However, cancellation cannot be guaranteed once processing has commenced.

5. Delivery Times

6. Refund Policy and Money-Back Guarantee
Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details.
Our Money-Back Guarantee applies where a service cannot be completed and the device is otherwise eligible for unlocking. In such cases, the customer may be entitled to a refund, store credit, or alternative remedy as outlined in our Refund Policy, subject to the conditions below.
6.1 Blacklisted, Lost, or Stolen Devices
The guarantee does not apply to devices reported as lost, stolen, blocked, blacklisted, or subject to Activation Lock, Find My iPhone restrictions, or similar security measures.
6.2 Eligibility Checks
Eligibility checks are completed immediately upon purchase and are non-refundable once performed. These checks may include carrier verification, blacklist status, activation lock status, and device history.
6.3 Android Unlock Code Services
Code-based Android unlocking is only possible when the device requests an unlock code after an unsupported SIM card is inserted. Customers are responsible for confirming this requirement before ordering.
6.4 Hard-Locked Devices
Where a network reports a device as hard-locked or otherwise ineligible for unlocking, refunds may be issued as store credit where processing costs have already been incurred.
